Beautiful color and image showing on this Original 1918 World War One poster. The artist was Haskell Coffin who did covers for Saturday Evening Post and other magazines at the time. The poster was to encourage women to purchase Saving Stamp in order to save the country. This of interest as few women at the time had outside jobs and could not afford War Bonds, but they could purchase the 10 cent saving stamps. The poster is 28 by 19 inches, perfect for framing. It has two primary issues, a 10 inch tear at the top center and a two tears are the bottom of the right corner, see photos. Still will look great once framed. It has been shrink wrap, easy to remove and the poster will be shipped flat. Will not ship internationally.
