Vintage James Kent, Ltd. Old Foley Rectangular Tray

Description

This elegant ‘tidbit’ serving tray was made by the porcelain manufacturer, James Kent, Ltd. at the Old Foley Pottery in Staffordshire, England.  It measures approximately 10 1/8” in length, 4” in width and ¾” in height and features a rectangular shape, embossed marks around the shapely rim, a bright white background that is decorated with a striking gold rose and leaf pattern and gold trim accenting the rim.  The “Old Foley – James Kent Ltd. – Staffordshire – England” mark is located on the base.  Despite wear to the trim, some minor blemishes and a hairline crack that is shown in last photo, this pretty porcelain tray is in good condition with no other evidence of damage.
