14/20 Gold Filled Wire is made of a brass core sheathed in 14 karat gold. This wire is 1/20 gold, and this gold layer won't wear or flake like gold plate.
SILVER FILLED WIRE - is a good choice for wire jewelry makers in today's economy. It is made by a mechanical process by forming a tube of .930 sterling silver and filling the tube with a base metal. The silver content is 5% or 1/20 of the total wire. Although silver filled is not as expensive as sterling silver.
To CLEAN your jewelry, use only mild soap and water & wipe with a soft cloth. I soap up my hands & gently rub the jewelry between my palms and then rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
