Description
Read the fine print below the item description, as it is part of the buyer and seller agreement.Looking for that one ring to pull the rest of your boutique outfit together? I suggest grabbing this sterling silver bold designer ring and letting it do the talking for you. It is fairly contemporary, and is a size 7.5 on my mandrel, although this one is tricky to size because it’s so big and the sides of the shank are wide. Just be aware that larger rings with wider shanks usually fit smaller than their sized specifications.
It weighs 23.6 grams so is substantial and not thin or flimsy. It is marked 999 for silver purity, so almost pure silver, and MEX for country of maker. It measures a little over 1” tall across the front, which features a series of raised silver beads that remind me of a hedgehog. It is completely smooth and comfortable, with a deep dark oxidation applied to bring out the depth of the central design.
Condition: Excellent secondary market condition. No known issues. Normal surface wear and oxidation to precious metal that includes scratches or other marks visible on magnification, or close up. Only requires a soft polishing cloth to clean any dullness from previous wear or storage.
The Fine Print
Welcome to my shop! I’ve been a dealer and collector of fine vintage sterling silver jewelry for over 40 years. Most of the pieces listed this year have been off-market for over 5 years. I am just now finding time to do detailed listings after a long hiatus from selling on eBay.
Please review all photos and descriptions of condition. Photos are part of the description. All measurements are approximate and done to the best of my ability. Ring size is measured on a standard mandrel. Weights are provided in grams and measured on a postal scale that is calibrated.
I do not accept returns, but will do my best with you to ensure you receive communication from me. Ebay is filled with buyers who only want to flip items. I sell for design, quality and beauty, not for scrap metal value.
I provide free flat rate priority and insured shipping, so my prices will reflect a modest offset.
These items are all vintage, antique (older than 50 years), or from a secondary contemporary marketplace. As such, there will be scuffs, scratches on stones and metal, visible use, sometimes slightly bent ring bands or clasps or rings that need attention. I will do my best to photograph these or point out any issues.
I leave the patina on pieces, especially with oxidation. If you would prefer something to be shinier and polished before it is mailed, please contact me and I will use an industry recommended product to hand polish, although it may leave a slight odor that can easily be removed by you with rinsing in water with gentle detergents.
This is a smoke-free household but we do have cats, so if a stray hair makes its way into your package, I cannot take responsibility for your allergic reaction. But I promise, the cats are not allowed to wear the jewelry on party night.
