    Original WWI "Women Help Win The War" 2nd Liberty Loan Vintage Rare 1917 Poster
    Large 30" x 20" World War I Edwards & Dutch Litho Co.
    original propaganda poster. Plastic wrapped with cardboard backing. I have not taken it out of it's protective covering since I acquired it, but it looks to have a few tears along the top, as we as crease marks where the poster has been folded, general age wear.
    Sons Win the War 1917. Safe behind a flag drawn back to reveal scenes of carnage on land and seas, a sweet looking grandma reaches out to women for help.
    The poster reads: “Women! Help America’s Sons Win the War,” and was produced by the U.S. Treasury Department to promote the Second Liberty Loan of 1917. It was designed by artist R.H. Porteous, and published by the Chicago-based printing company Edwards and Deutsch Litho. Co.
