Rare and original, 1918 United States World War I Liberty Bond Poster By Walter Whitehead titled "Come On". This fantastic, original War Bonds Poster measures approx. 20" x 30" and features a charging American Soldier astride the body of a fallen German Soldier. The poster reads "Come On / Buy More Liberty Bonds.". Signed in the plate by Whitehead and published by Ketterlinus of Philadelphia.
The Poster is fresh to the market and has not been repaired, restored, retouched or tampered with in any way. It is in very good condition – generally crisp and clean and very well preserved. The colors are bright and vibrant with no fading or bleeding. The Poster has very light edge wear and short edge tears but no repairs or major damage. The poster is “as found” and not linen backed.
