Beautiful bronze Head. Likely of Theodora - Weight: 15.94 grams Size 38mm x 23mm - lovely patina. Note the similarity of this piece to the bronze identified as Theodora in "Justinian and Theodora: by Robert Browning. The similarity of this piece with others from the same time frame makes this attribution as close to conclusive as it is possible to be. I usually buy/sell collect coins but because of its size, character, price and most of all patina, this item would make a splendid addition to a collection of ancient coins.

I spent months on this attribution which corrects an earlier determination - this is simply a beautiful piece with
wonderful patina - ridiculously priced, should be in a museum
