The door lock in this set is correct for the 2001 model over 90% of the time,
BUT
there is chance that it may
NOT
be correct. We have sold over 50 of this set and have had 4 occasions where the customer's 2001 model needed the older 2000 style door locks. Both locks look the same from the outside but are different on the back side.
The third picture of this listing shows the shape of the tailshaft on the rear of this door cylinder....compare to your existing lock cylinder.
There is a very simple way to test your existing door cylinder to see which one you have...send message BEFORE YOU BUY for help making the determination.

Merchandise Description
This ebay auction is for one (1) Strattec brand GM OEM ignition lock cylinder, two (2) matching door lock cylinders (chrome face), and spare tire lock with two (2) Chevy logo keys....just as pictured.
Door locks can be provided with black face for same price...must send an ebay message immediately after buying.
The door lock cylinders come minus the pawl/cam that goes on the back...you swap from old cylinders to new cylinders by removing small clip.
This ignition lock cylinder is for vehicles with
AUTOMATIC
transmission. Vehicles with manual transmission will take a different cylinder, which has a push-button on the face of it. We have the manual trans lock and it is the same price....send reminder message right after buying if you need the manual trans lock.
