    Description

    Tiberius III "Apsimar" was a German in Roman military service who usurped the throne from Leontius, who had himself usurped the throne from Justinian II just a few years earlier.  Then Justinian II came back and re-took the throne and had both Tiberius III and Leontius executed, after nose disfiguration.
