1986 Commerative Centennial Bonded Bronze & Marble Statue of Liberty/Signed/HTF

Description

Official 15in  scale model replica of the Statue of Liberty that was created for the 1886-1986 Centennial Celebration of Lady Liberty.
The base is bonded marble and stands 5.5in talll and is 3.5in square at the bottom.
Lady Liberty is bonded bronze and cast with a green verdigris finish. She stands 9.5in from her base to the tip of her torch and weighs approx 2.5lbs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            She is officially licensed and issued a limited number by the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Foundtion Inc. (etched on the back side of the base as 1982 SL / EIF. INC). Above that sits a gold plate with the limited issued numder etched in black (050869). Also, above the plate is and etching official Centennial logo reading, "OFFICIAL LICENSEE" above the head of Lady Liberty and below is etched "LIBERTY 1886-1986"
This replica was made in 1984 by the renowned Barrett Colea INC. of Long Island, NY which is etched in the marble base on her torch side.                                                                          At the base of the bronze Statue on the back side is the signature of the artist Wang Ji da with the year 84 as well.
This model was only available to the public through November of 1986.
No box or paperwork although I do remember it having come with both.
In amazing condition and deserves to be displayed for appreciation. No major flaws noticed.
